79. See the Top 100 Greatest Films
Saw Philadelphia Story last night. Was completely charmed. It came along at a perfect time, a time when I was looking over the other 70 movies I still have to watch and thinking, ‘why am I doing this? I won’t enjoy probably half of these. They’ll be depressing and boring and I won’t learn anything’. Philadelphia Story, of course, was not one of the more serious films on the list and was definitely entertaining and funny. I’d definitely recommend. Especially if you’re a fan of Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart (and who isn’t?).
What should I watch next? I was thinking a mystery or thriller like Vertigo or Maltese Falcon… (comments are enabled if you want to leave suggestions! The list is linked above. I’ve only watched 30 so far so chances are I haven’t watched whatever you’re recommending)
